The Mountain Drop Series is an evolution of the Summit Series that was first introduced in 2017.  The first Mountain Drops were completed in the Spring of 2026 after a few years of experimentation with the form in both solid and hollow iterations with different colour applications.  The drop form is one that works well with the medium of hot glass where the liquid movement encouraging the final outcome of the shape.

The Mountain Drop series includes a few different designs incorporating inspiration from the alpine and sub-alpine environments of the mountains of western Canada where the theme of mountain peaks, glaciers and wildflowers can be found in different variations in the series.   The intuitive use of glass colour continues to evolve in the creation of these pieces as the repertoire of colour used and techniques of application continue to grow.
