Collection: Canyon Series

The Canyon series was conceived by Ryan Bavin around 2013.  He was inspired by the smooth forms of canyons carved through the rock by thousands of years of glacier ice and water erosion in the mountains near his home.

The asymmetrical shape of the pieces comes from the different chemistry that makes the coloured glass.  By setting up the colours in the piece a certain way, the natural forms will happen almost automatically!
