Collection: Saturn Series

Conceived in October 1994, what makes these pieces so unique is that they are actually two vessels fused together into one. 

We use the centuries old Venetian technique known as “En Calmo” to create this series. This process gives us the ability to show two distinctly different colours on the same piece without the colours blending. Individual vessel diameters and wall thickness must closely match to make the process possible. 

The "Saturns" will always be included in our collection of one-of-a-kind groups that we enjoy creating. Such pieces demand a team of 2 or more artists to execute the dramatic bands of colour.
