In the "Bugaboo Bowl", the artist portrays the sense of spires and ridges inspired by the majestic mountains it is named after. The Bugaboos are a short 30 miles as the crow flies northwest of Windermere and are world famous for glacier skiing and climbing.
Colours are chosen for their stress compatibility, contrast and natural hues. The imaging of the spires is created from varying thickness of glass throughout the piece. This group of elegant bowls has quickly become a popular choice.
The "Bugaboo Bowl" technique was created in Spring of '97.
